Amazing discovery: Nnamdi Kanu has sacked two chief judges and a defence lawyer since the emergence of his trial.

Mr Nnamdi Kanu who was arrested by DSS operative, led by Temisan John,  on October 14, 2015 at the Golden Tulip Essential  Lagos Airport Hotel in Lagos.

Nnamdi Kanu who had accused a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja of committing judicial rascality over two different rulings given on his trial.

The judge, Justice John Tsoho is also alleged to have given conflicting rulings on the same issue raised during the trial of Kanu.
In his petition to the National Judicial Council, NJC, in a petition which he also called for an investigation into the rulings of the court over the permission granted the Department of State Services, DSS, to protect its witness in his trial.

In his ruling on Monday, September 26, Tsoho said: “I deem it unnecessary to allow the learned DPP (director of public prosecution) M. Labaran to make any response.”

University of Ibadan(UI) under serious threat by terrorist

There was commotion in the University of Ibadan on Friday as a threatening message that came from a group, al-wilayat al-Islamiyya Gharb Afriqiyyah, was circulated among some staff of the institution and on social media platforms.

From the message, the group threatened to bomb the school before Independence Day on October 1, 2016, stating that students and staff were their targets.

When contacted, The Director of Communication, UI, Olatunji Oladejo, dismissed the threat, saying it was the handiwork of mischievous individuals who wanted to cause commotion in the school.

According to our discovery some people got the message through their Email while some lecturers got the mail through their institutional e-mail addresses, and the rest were copied through social platforms such as Whatsapp.

In the sent mail, the group described the university as an embarrassment to Nigeria for bringing western education.

It was noticed that security arrangement was strengthened at the school gates with scanning devices deployed while stop and search was conducted on everyone entering the school, leading to a gridlock.

The letter read in part, “You people are an embarrassment to Nigeria and are the people that brought in western education to Nigeria. You doomed this nation and in turn you all are going to be doomed. Most of you are going to die before Independence Day.

You will not spend the Independence Day in peace, you and your students.
“Detonation will start going from tomorrow till Independence Day and there is nothing you can do as we are among you. Even your little searches at the gate won’t do anything.

By the time we are through with you, your government will be sorry.”
Speaking on the alleged threat, Oladejo said like others, he also received the letter, while saying that it had not affected the peace of the school.

He said, “I also got it. Anyone could instigate such thing. Some people could be mischievous.

Our international students are having their carnival on the campus and everywhere is peaceful.

I attribute it to the handiwork of mischievous individuals and vehemently deny any commotion.”

Police Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, told our correspondent that the command had received information on the threat to lives and property on the campus and had responded appropriately.

He said, “We have received the information. The state Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, working in concert with the other security agencies, has put in place all necessary security arrangement to forestall such an ugly incident.

“We have deployed our intelligence officers to provide adequate security in the school.

As it is, it is still a rumour but we don’t want to take things for granted and because of this, we have provided adequate security, not only for the school, but for the people of the state.

“We enjoin members of the public to go about their lawful businesses and to be law-abiding.”

ENUGU – The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Thursday, declared full blown war with the Federal Government to press for the unconditional release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafra agitators detained in various
prisons nationwide and in Diaspora.

A palpable anxiety pervades Enugu State over the would-be clash between pro-Biafra groups of MASSOB, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and security agencies following the Friday sit-at-home order, to protest the continued detention of their members in detention.

Vanguard monitored the mood of the people within the metropolis and found out that many parents may have decided to withdraw their wards from school even as they were apprehensive of going to their various places of work.

There was copious presence of security personnel at strategic places within the metropolis expecially at the three-arms zone housing the Government House.

At the Okpara Square, a detachment of Mobile Policemen numbering over 200 were seen rehearsing crowd and combat techniques as early as 9.30AM.

Unusual siren blaring police vehicles patrolled the streets intermittently while Police authorities had earlier assured the

A former Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi; and a former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, also made Buhari’s ministerial nominees’ list in spite of several petitions written to various anti-graft agencies against them. Meanwhile, some others including Senate President Bukola Saraki; his grizel, Toyin; a former Kebbi State Governor, Saidu Dakingari; his wife, Zainab; a former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Senator Godswill Akpabio; a former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, have all been questioned by anti-corruption agencies. “We have started handwriting petitions against Fashola to the EFCC and the ICPC since 2010,Adeniran said.
We have written about six or seven petitions and each time we wrote to the EFCC, we also wrote to the ICPC because the allegations concern both agencies. Recently, we sent a summary of our petitions to these agencies to the President for him to know what had been going on, so that he would be able to instruct the agencies to performance on them.

But he thing to nominate them as ministers. “So get now, we believe that the President is interfering with the process of investigation Fashola and Adeosun, his nominee from Ogun State, who has a lot of corruption baggage hanging on her neck from her days as the Commissioner for Finance in the state.

Buhari didn’t seem to have given credence to any of the allegations when he was nominating them.” CACOL’s allegations against Fashola and Adeosun include corruption, embezzlement of public funds and contract inflation.

In the same vein, a pressure group in Rivers State, The Integrity Group, wrote to a petition to the President, accusing Amaechi of N70bn guile. Among other allegations, the former Governor was accused of fraudulent demand of Rivers State power assets and conversion of proceeds amounting to N60.48bn and illicit enrichment of Messrs Collect Solutions (Nig.) Also, a Justice George Omereji-led Judicial Commission of Inquiry, which was recently set up by the Rivers State Government to consider into the sale of valued assets belonging to the state, found Amaechi and some others responsible for appropriate state funds to the tune of N97bn.
But there are no indications that Amaechi has been invited for questioning by the any of the anti-corruption agencies. On September 29, 2014, a group, Save Ekiti Coalition, alleged that Fayemi misappropriated N20bbn as Ekiti State Governor in a petition it sent to the EFCC and the ICPC.
The petition, which was signed by the assembly’s secretary, Mr. Oke Ayodele, called for Fayemi’s investigation and prosecution, but there has been no record that the former governor has been called for dispute by any of the agencies. Fashola,
Amaechi, and Fayemi all contributed in various ways to Buhari’s success at the poll and experts have described their ministerial nominations and perceived exclusion from the examine list of anti-graft agencies as the punishment for their labour.
The former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, has been questioned by the EFCC over financial offences committed while in office between 2007 and 2011. Niger Delta evengers blow up nnpc pipeline

The Niger Delta Avengers, a new militant group demanding a sovereign state of the Niger Delta, on Friday said its fighters had blown up a large gas and crude pipeline operated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) near Warri, Delta State late Thursday. 

The militant group said it was able to achieve this feat despite the fact that the pipeline was protected by soldiers – an apparent attempt to mock the capacity of the Nigerian military to prevent the attack.
The Avengers announced the attack via its Twitter handle. “At 11:45pm on Thursday NDAvengers blew up other #NNPC Gas and Crude trunkline close to Warri. Pipeline that was heavily guarded by Military”, the group tweeted. 

There was no independent confirmation of the incident as at the time of publishing this report.
The Avengers, which has claimed responsibility for several attacks on critical oil and gas infrastructure in the Niger Delta since February, 2016 had rejected a meeting recently convened in Abuja by the federal government, saying it was out to secure self-rule for people of the oil-rich region.
It also warned of its readiness to carry out an attack that it claimed will “shock the whole world”.
“The Niger Delta stakeholder’s meeting is an insult to the people of Niger Delta. What we need is a Sovereign State not pipeline Contracts.

“To the IOC’s, Indigenous Oil Companies and Nigeria Military. Watch out something big is about to happen and it will shock the whole world”, the group tweeted on Friday.
A new armed militant group in Nigeria's Niger Delta, "The Niger Delta Avengers" today destroyed the main pipeline supplying gas that provides electricity to the Escravos tank farm in Delta state owned by Chevron.

In a tweet sent from its account on Twitter, the group said the latest action was carried out after Chevron ignored its May 12 warning not to fix a major crude pipeline blown up by the group early in the month.
The group did not disclose if the latest attack led to human casualties. “The Niger Delta stakeholders’ meeting is an insult to the people of the Niger Delta. 

What we need is a sovereign state, not pipeline contracts”, it declared.
The attack is coming as the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, said that government needs to improve its amnesty programme for militants in the Niger Delta to address neglect by the government and international oil companies. 

The team also blew up major pipelines in Alero, Dibi, Otunana and Makaraba flow stations, which feed the Chevron tank farm, putting it out of operation. Currently, Chevron's operations in the Niger Delta have been completely disrupted.

Even a statement by Tompolo dis­sociating himself from the group is skilled as a facade and a diversionary ploy in some quarters where specu­lations are rife that he (Tompolo) is second-hand the ‘boys’ as a cover up and to bend application from him.
